Tier 1
Dattco Moose defeat Hockeygear 8-5, (with 2 empty netters) to win the coveted Tier 1 Championship. MVP honors go to Avery Clair who had a hat trick and the game winner. Fletcher Fineman has 3 points as well with 2 goals and an assist. Spencer Touhy had two goals. For Hockeygear, Jason St Peter also had a hat trick.
Tier 2
No Regretzky's routs the Copperheads 7-2 to win their 3rd Tier 2 Championship. 8 players put up points in the win, as Mike "The sheriff" Camasso received MVP honors, stopping 29 of 31 shots. For the Coppperheads, Mike Ryan and Pat Wardell scored.
Tier 3
The Loose Cannons go "Back to Back" and defeat the Boneheads 3-2 in one of the best games of the session. Jake Bealieu, Craig Watts ( 1G, 1A), and MVP Evan Davis ( 1G, 1A, and game winner), all scored. Captain Kurt Rhodes was magnificent in new as well, stopping 14 of 16 shots. For the Boneheads, Cullen Roberts and Justin Trzcinski both scored.
Tier 4 - Northford
HONOR THEM wins the Tier 4 Championship over https://www.ryanoilcompanyinc.com/ by a score of 6-1. The game winning goal went to Captain Joe Accarpio who had 2 goals and an assist on the night, (yes, an assist). Remarkably, The https://honorthemhockey.org/team/ received points from all 10 players in the victory. For Ryan Oil, Jamie Feigelson had the only goal, assisted by Gary Albert and Captain Dave Brockett. As a side note, referee McRib is doing well, no need for police or emergency responder involvement.
Tier 5
The Americans go "Back to Back" with a 6-1 victory over Moby Dicks. The boys spread the puck around, getting points from 7 players, with Colin Rock leading the way with a goal and 2 assists. MVP honors go to Kyle Pallandino who stopped 18 of 19 shots in the win.
Tier 6
The Patriots defeat the Warriors 3-2 in Overtime to win the Tier 6 Championship. MVP honors goes to Cory Rask who had 2 goals, including the Overtime winner. Kyle Palladino stopped 25 of 27 shots. For the Warriors, Mike LeMay and Ian Schwalenberger both has a goal and an assist and Dave Carrier was spectacular in net.
Tier 6 - Northford
The Tier 6 Northford championship delivered from start to finish, with the Growlers taking down the Flamingos 3–0 in a high-tempo, action-packed matchup. The intensity never let up as both teams pushed the pace and generated quality chances throughout. The Growlers capitalized when it counted and locked things down defensively to secure the Tier 6 title, while the Flamingos battled right to the final horn. Alex “MVP” Prentiss led the way with two goals, helping lift the Growlers to a well-earned championship victory.
Tier 7
REP defeated the CHL Hornets 5-3 to win the highly competitive Tier 7 championship. Trent Houston and Steve Slattery both had 2 goals in the win. 'Tender Mike Casey gets MVP honors, allowing only 3 goals on 22 shots.
RIP Liam, you are missed and in our thoughts.
Tier 8
The Buzzer Beater's win the Tier 8 Championship 2-1 over the CHL Las Vegas upstarts. Alex Dionne and Zach Corso both scored for the BB's, and Alex Defeltsen gets the MVP votes, allowing only 1 goal. For the gamblers, Uthman Yung had the only goal of the game.
